Why do we Comfort Stick?

Accidents happen when we're having fun. But I have a feeling tricks were trying to be done and ended wrong. No one is saying how this happened. No one is fessing up. Both are very much sticking to that don't tell mom rule kids have when they do something stupid lol. This bruise is on Vada. And is very close to Vada's surgery spot from 5 years ago. Why does that matter? Because she doesn't have a normal bladder. Hers has been cut in half, pieced back together and has only matured to the size of 6 year Olds. Some heavy trauma to it could set us back even further. Hints the "Don't tell mom."
Anyway, after the don't tell mom episode yesterday Vada was in quite a bit of pain. We got her checked out. Nothing broken. Just heavy bruising. I was rotating Tylenol and Ibuprofen and it helped but not enough. She was miserably sitting in the chair complaining of pain. I found my Comfort Stick and put it on all over her bruise. She finally got relief for a full 4+ hours and was back up running around and playing. Now she puts it on religiously herself. Soon as she wakes up because that's when it hurts the worst. And soon as she goes to bed so it doesn't bother her too much in her sleep. And we stopped rotating Tylenol and Ibuprofen which can be hard on her little kidneys. Win win. 🩷

I ran a 30 (yes 30) mile race recently. As soon as I got home I did my usual post race bath and immediately put this all over my legs. Then again before bed applied it. The next day I was able to go to a hot yoga flow class and was still moving around fine. I walked up and down the steps and got up from a chair just fine the next day too. This is not typically for me after running such a long distance.

I seriously cannot sat enough wonderful things about the comfort stick! 10 years ago I had twins via c-section and I am now experiencing lots of lower back pain/stiffness both from carrying twins and from the epidural. My back sometimes locks on me in the middle of the night and it’s extremely painful. I also suffer from sciatica- let me just tell you, this had worked WONDERS for me. A product I don't hesitate to use on my kids!!! My kids are at the age where they're growing like weeds and I use this on their shins mostly to help with those peksy growing pains. Once I apply, I don't hear anything out of them for complaints about hurting. For me, I apply it on the base/back of my neck when I have headaches and I love it.
